Chris Clarke at podcast movement 2018 in Philadelphia.  She and I quickly bonded upon meeting each other and found that we had so much in common.  Have you ever met someone who you found so friendly and the next thing you know, you're just thick as thieves within a very short time?

What Happened Next

Upon talking to Chris Clarke, she found out that I was into food and had been a cook in restaurants in my early days.  finding out that I was a cook just exploded our relationship. shortly after I found myself walking through the streets of Philadelphia in search of an Asian restaurant in their Chinatown.

Chris Clarke is a people magnet

Chris gathered two other women and me to sit down and break bread to discuss food, life, passion, happiness, and podcasting. One of the first things that stood out about Chris is she is not shy to tell you that she made a serious pivot in her life and decided to give up everything to travel the world.  Chris sold her belongings and made her track about this globe seeking out adventure and food. this is a very interesting interview with Chris Clarke regarding her podcast her book her website and her adventures please stay tuned and listen to the conversation with my friend and Chef Chris Clarke a woman cooking in a man's kitchen

Born and raised a tiny village in upstate New York, Chris Clarke is a culinary veteran with over 30 years of experience working in restaurants, catering, the natural foods industry, and as a culinary educator. She is now a 50-year-old mostly-vegan who prefers street food to a white linen fine dining experience. A winner of the “Denver’s Best Home Chef” contest, and appeared as a guest chef on several morning programs, and once competed on an obscure Food Network trivia game show where she came in second and won a year's supply of Jordan Almonds and Junior Mints.

After selling most of what she owned and traveling the world for a year to better understand food, she decided to write a book about what she ate and where she went. Then she started the podcast Something About Food? so that she could carry on that food exploration and conversation.
